Deliverable WP5-D3

The deliverable WP5-D3 “Report on prioritized plans of mitigation strategies at the catchment with end-users’ feedback” presents the results of several focus group meetings with farmers and other stakeholders in five project partner countries. The aim was to identify the opinions on the relevance and perception of soil erosion risk, the usefulness of soil erosion models and maps for mitigation measure implementation and how to improve these tools. Further, actions needed to overcome barriers for wider adoption of mitigation measures were discussed and it was suggested to apply an improved participatory approach to ensure targeted erosion control management.
